help! 15000mile service

my monaro dash is displaying service 15000 miles everytime i switch ign on and off,was only serviced last xmas and it only got 8500 miles on clock,wots going on i hope its nothing serious?

Been done quite a bit this one. A software bug in mile/km conversion means you'll see it after driving two feet I believe. Do a search and you'll find threads on this as well as the button combo to reset it. Just get the oil changed every year / 10,000 miles and you'll be fine.

reset the reminder following the procedure in the FAQ at the top of the page
the reminder comes on every 9k'ish or twelve months which ever comes first and should have been reset when you had your service. its also said that there was a screw up with the miles/Km conversion so 15000km = 10000miles'ish

thank you faq,tried holding down the 2 up/down buttons and switch ign on ,but nothing happens no beeps nothing zero,even swearing does nowt either !

Try it again, make sure you switch ignition to the 2nd position while pressing both arrow buttons and hold it for a few seconds until it beeps then press 'set'. I had to do mine the other day but it only reset it properly after the 2nd attempt for some reason. If this doesn't work then carry on swearing and get the hammer out

Mine flashes at the 25K service interval had it serviced last week and still comes up with 25K...

ive lost count of the times ive tried now.still wont remove of dash,thing is as with this problem and the beeping noises its most annoying car ive ever had,can they be switched of?

Just reset mine tonight after reading this today... If you go in to the menu there is st loads that you can play about with and turning the beeps off is one of them
