Whoah, I've got this at parking speeds - it's horrible, but 2x Vaux garages and one independent think that it's normal. I think they're talking arse. The steering feedback feels like you're going over a cattle grid. This only started when I had a leaking steering rack replaced. Help Monkfish, what do you reckon, sound like a bearing issue?

Of course, while you are in there fixing the bearing, you might as well fit some uprated top mounts

Yes I have had a bit of this recently after car was off the road for 2 weeks. 05 CV8 new RE050s. I think it did it before occasionally. Just when parking i.e. PAS working hard. Now 4 years 40K. Poor show if rack is knackered already particularly with my relatively sedate driving.

Yep, mine started this but only turning to the left and only if your stationary which you shouldnt be doing anyway as it puts a huge strain on all the steering components.
It started this after the PAS cooler rotted and blew fluid everywhere causing the pump to whine and whine more on corners but its not overly noisy according to Vauxhall.
