I'm doing this as soon as they release some dates. Wanna drive on a track but don't want to use my own car - this looks the best alternate.

Anyone else interested? - Mel?

This looks great. I would like to take mine on the track, but it's the cost. Not just the track, but tyres and brake wear etc.

This looks like a good alternative and at that price, it might be worth paying extra to add some laps on. It'll still be cheaper.

Good find!

they are cars from the middle east

The Lumina CSV Championship Middle East is the premier circuit racing category organized in the GCC.

The Bahrain International Circuit, the ‘home of motorsport in the Middle East’, developed the Lumina CSV Championship Middle East and acts as organizer and promoter together with active support from title sponsor Chevrolet Motorsport.

As a stepping stone for the growing strength and depth of racing talent actoss the GCC, the Lumina CSV Championship Middle East provides aspiring racers with an ideal showcase for their talent on a cost-effective budget with significant promotional opportunities for drivers and sponsors.

The 12-race season takes place on six weekends at two world-class venues – the Bahrain International Circuit and Dubai Autodrome - and onto the supporting bill of the region’s biggest sporting occasions, including the Dubai 24 Hours and Bahrain’s Desert 400 for the V8 Supercars Series Australia and, of course, its Formula One Grand Prix.

The calendar therefore delivers maximum value to competitors and their sponsors, taking them to two of the most important markets in the GCC and participating in events that draw hundreds of thousands of race fans and enormous media exposure between them.
For the growing number of motor sport fans in the region, the Lumina CSV Championship Middle East also delivers an unbeatable experience. The 380hp Chevrolet Lumina V8s are equally matched for performance, generating spectacular racing and putting a premium on driver skill. They are also loud, fast and spectacular machines that deliver a thrill every lap as sports fans get to see the best home-grown talent in the Gulf going wheel-to-wheel.

The all-inclusive prize offers the champion of the Lumina CSV Championship Middle East the opportunity to shine with one of the most famous teams in this, the world’s fastest and most spectacular touring car series. Garry Rogers himself was an ultra successful driver, his Valvoline-sponsored Holden Commodores are always in the thick of the Supercar action and Garry has an enviable reputation for giving drivers the right start at the top level – including current V8 front-runners Garth Tander and Will Davison.

The prize drive experience will include flights to and from Australia together with accommodation, leaving the winner to focus on enjoying the experience and using it to springboard into the global motor sport business.

The Lumina CSV is the middle east Chevrolet branding of HSV Clubsport, looking at the pics, they are either 2003 VY or 2004 VYII Clubbies. Not sure if the RED letter mob are just using these pics for marketing or if they are actual pics of the cars used.
