Gents & Mel,
Any ideas at what sort of intake temperatures does the ECU start pulling back timing?
I've got a supercharged '04 CV8 with Scan Gauges and it's quite scarey sometimes how hot the intake temperature gets, especially when you're in traffic or on part throttle for any length of time.....

Thanks for the info Gents.
With normal driving, without hammering it, on the open road, I regularly see about 35 to 40 degsC (in an ambient of mid to high teens) but I can easily get it up to about 50 after a bit of hard driving and then shortly followed by a bit of chugging around. It's the heat soak effects that surprised me after you've parked up for about 10 mins and then drive off again. I've seen 70+ many a time, but obviously it soon cools down once it’s had a bit of air flowing through the inlet manifold. Heat rises and all that, so I suppose the manifold is going to get rather warm while the car is stationary....
FYI; I've just got the standard airbox with the Wortec/Monkfish extra hole mod.
