I think the one from the LS7 engine is the favourite.

Tex OZ700 will handle that without batting an eyelid, and drive like standard.

Have a look at Centreforce.

Twin plate.
Textralia, Spec, McCleod etc do them, stock feel but twice the clamping.
I have a centreforce which seems to be holding ok for now.

Why would you want to make your own clutch, that's like brewing your own petrol!

That seems to be a very good price because the McLeod street twin cost me a lot more then that iirc.

Sounds very cheap for a clutch that ranges from $1200-1800 depending on torque capacity ??

Ive never driven the twin plate spec.....but having owned and driven a TEX OZ700 for over 10k, multiple low 10sec passes, and who cares what power....
I really couldnt reccomend anything else for a daily driver. When I did remove it after that time, it was only just bedded in. It really was a fantastic clutch.
I upgraded to their triple after that time...purely because it looks cool, and as I got a new gearbox...seemed like a good idea to upgrade both at same time. Serious overkill, and it doesnt drive anywhere near as nice, although it is very usable.

I now keep the OZ700 as a spare.

I owned a Mcleod street twin in my old Rover V8...and it too was an excellent clutch. Although also on the pricey side. It did wear the Alloy flywheel insert ( steel ) very badly and unevenly, although the clutch worked great despite this.
Dont think I'd ever buy an Alloy flywheel clutch again though after seeing it do that

ok, maybe I got the price wrong as it was part of a fixed price job when my engine was rebuilt and I was guessing. Easiest thing is to speak to Mark at RapidGB and get a quote.
