Slightly off topic... do the EBC pads fit both the 5.7 and 6.0 VXRS... i.e. are the front calipers the same size?

From my experience with EBC products, I would never use them again. Especially on a car as "heavy" as the Monaro.

In my experience -

EBC discs - warp very easily and quickly.
EBC pads - fade very easily and quickly.

And... they ain't cheap. Just my 2p.

Hello the part No for the vxr pads are DP41162r which are the fron ones they are about £77 and the part No for the rear ones are DP41711 which are around £55.

I have also checked and EBC say they dont do discs for any of the Monaro cars so dont know how u know they worp, unless u fitted discs that are not recommended for the car, if u have fitted EBC discs in the past give me the number ill check it out.

That is correct, but they DO make discs for the Pontiac GTO, we just cant get them over here, even though they are made here. Very infuriating! banghead

Warped Disks are normally a result of matetrial transfer onto the disk surface from the pads when you use them hard. Have a read up on the subject as its quite interesting what actually happens. My mate with a track 325i sport used red or yellow stuff pads - crap and gave the impression of warped disks. Put Padgid pads in and it transformed the car! There not cheap mind but they do do what they say on the box! Hence some are going in the M5 soon in anticipation for Germany! smile
