Right I'm fecking p*ssed!

Its a damn shame VX supposed Monaro specialists are such a bunch of Feckwits,

A damn good car totally spoilt by a crap company, crap dealers and crap after sales service. Greens managed to turn the experience round for the better once I found them but now with them gone, the very first visit back to my local has rendered my car unusable AGAIN (for the 5th time) time in 3 years!

The sooner I can get rid the happier I'll be..

Nope that hasn't helped.... thought a good rant might make me feel a bit better but no, just even more worked up now frown

Ok, save the obvious legal route which is where I am looking at now has anyone had any success resolving problems that VX CC cant/wont? If so who did they speak to or where did they go?

Any help really gratefully received......

Yours, desperate, distraught, immobile, very unhappy, too close to Aldershot for comfort, 6.0 VXR.

Whats the list of disasters? Did you not try any of the Independants or is it all warranty stuff.

Sorry about your bad experiences, suffered the same st with a couple of Jags and in the end just binned it off to the trade, I was sick of it.

As the chaps have said, would be interesting to understand your specific technical faults in case they can help, other than that, perhaps worthy of a direct mail to explain your issues without naming and shaming between you and Stu Harris who is Vauxhall's VXR Product Manager I believe. He may (or may not!) be able to help resolve your dealer issues.

I don't think I should go into detail here, don't really want to prejudice any case I might have (happy to discuss of board though).

What I was really hoping for is if anyone has found a way to get successful resolution of a dispute with VX where the dealer isn't competent to help and VX CC are now giving me (In my opinion) an unacceptable way forward.

I have heard of people with similar issues with dealers and VX customer care getting them sorted by going "higher" but I cant remember where "higher" was. I'm sure there was someone else in VX but that might just be wishful thinking.

Yes D Ald3rsh0t it was!

What amazes me is if everyone knows how bad they are and I guess that would mean they would also have a fairly hefty complaints file then how come they still have their "Monaro Accreditation"? How come they are still there at all!

In fact I can recall almost every time I've been there there's been customers in various states of disarray over one thing or another so I don't think their incompetence is restricted to the Monaro alone.

If VX cared in the slightest they would send someone down there and find out what the problem is!

I will just say I didn't go back there by choice, I was directed there by VX CC as they were prepared to do the work under warranty if I took it there and I didnt want to be awkward (More fool me!)

This time I'm refusing point blank to go back there. The car comes out of that place worse than it goes in EVERY time!

Anyways, thanks for your help and Stu has now been emailed. Geez I hope he can help as I'm just exhausted with the VX owners experience. I can only describe the last 3 years as a complete nightmare! Who would have thought owning such a fantastic motor could have been ruined so bad!

Try Motorbodies, next to Luton Airport. They are a Masterfit Centre and were utterly brilliant when dealing with warranty problems on my car. Very professional and they know their Vauxhalls as they should being in the shadow of the factory where most of them (Vauxhalls, not Holdens) were made.

They replaced my warped brakes, gearbox and fixed my aircon all without question. In the case of the gearbox they diagnosed, ordered, replaced, and gave me the car back within 36 hours which must be a record!

I cannot rate them highly enough if you are ever in the area.

So if you get all the outstanding things sorted to your satisfaction do you think you'll keep the car ?

Shame if you had to sell it just because of the dealer experience.

Another vote for Picadors.

For Monaro's and VXR8's they are a top VX dealership.

Yes they do have quite a large file!!!!!!!!!....My so called service manager could not be bothered to even ring back (long story).Stu harris had to sort them out a while back...Take it away from them and take it to Picadors, bit further away but worth it, hope you get sorted soon, PM me if you like.......Chris.

Thanks guys, I'm actually about 40 miles S/E of Aldershot but it is my nearest. Where abouts is Picadors? If you guys are all giving them the thumbs up I'll definitely give them a go.

I was seriously considering giving up the Ro due to all the issues but you're right its a shame to get shot of a lovely motor just because of bad dealers service etc but on the other hand I just cant be going through all this grief all the time. I guess which way I go will depend on what happens now.

Its just wrong we only have a handful of places who can be trusted to look after the motor. Its a huge pain in the butt when your real busy to have to drive a few hundreds miles for a service or routine work.

I had a Japster before the Ro, 10 years trouble free motoring, excellent dealers left right and centre, a totally different experience. Seems like another lifetime now!

hey guys i myself dont have warranty problems but from what ive read id be at wits end as well and it seems to be a big problem amoungst most guys and girls on here so why dont we put a good letter together stating all the hassle and get every one to sign it and send it to head office cant hurt might get a decent response and then u might get nothin....just an idea after all the monaro vxr market is made up of probably 80 percent of everyone here....

I would try Motorbodies, based on reputation, if I had another warranty issue (before it expires) but that aside, I doubt very very much whether I'll ever part with any money for a dealer-maintained, or to-be-dealer-maintained (ie less then 3 year old) Vauxhall ever again.

I still utterly fail to understand the love for Greens around these parts. In my experience they were a shower of st, but everyone seems to love them here. Was it because they gave out fancy loan cars to the "inner sanctum"? Because I really can't understand where else that came from. Attitude/knowledge/customer focus/price etc, totally sucked, and as someone who lives 3 miles away and bought my first brand-new car from them in 1983, I shed no tears when they went under.

I'm quite willing to accept that dealers from other marques are just as bad, but they just haven't shown themselves to be such (to me) so far.
