Whats the point?

Somehow I seem to get unsolicited mail in my hotmail account, most likely the result of someone ignoring my ticking of the box for my details not to be sold on!
This is the latest and for the life of me I cant understand the mentality of the morons who write and send this out!
Anyone else get it as surely people are not stupid enough to actually go through with it and even if they do you must be able to trace who the payment went to and then take legal action... or am I being nieve?

yeah funny that i got the same a few days ago they had a cheque for me and i had to contact fed ex wonder where they get our emails ive had about 10 all up from differant places for example:

Hotmail acounts just seem to be the worst, use my hotmail for entering competitions and crap but keep another email purely for friends/important stuff,etc. Just started to get crap through that though too - can't complain though, had it 6-7 years and only started to get junk mail recently.
