Thought it about time I got myself registered as I thought it was me spotted on the M25 on Sunday Dartford bound, would of only been about 3.30pm as over in Oxted to see friends, had I joined/known about the meet sooner I would of shown my face as it's only round the corner from where I was. Glad to read about other Monaro's on the road but never spot any. Keep your eyes peeled, always popping to Surrey, so will no doubt be spotted again......hopefully, although would probably crash if I saw another one!

Oh yes, forgot to mention my location, I'm basically Southend-On-Sea and have a 56 Plate 6.0 VXR in Quicksilver. And before the comments come rolling in, have not plucked up the courage to join the masses of a weekend down the sea front yet!

I like to make a pass along the seafront once in a while, just to let those Saxo boys know what it's really about.

Essex boys!!!! C'mon we gotta get together in convoy n do the sea front haha. The kids in the Saxo's n Corsa's will sh#t thier pants!!! I'm only in braintree so not a prob runnin down to say hi.

How about weekend 13/14Jun - poss 2 or 3 'Ro's from Stansted way, pickup others along the way.
Could have 10 or 12 by the time we hit the seafront - a couple of hundred db's of V8 noise should remind the sub 2litre children how the big boys play.

Unfortunately can't make that weekend as the 'ro and I will be in Le Mans. Will definitely be interested in a seafront meetup if it ends up being on a different weekend.

Tattooboy, not sure if you into your motorsport, but we're also aiming for an East Anglia meet for the BTCC at Snetterton in August.... thread here...

OK, I'll start. Sat 13th or Sun 14th - either suits me.
Poss Routes: A120/130/127 or M11/25/A127 or other suggestions?
Timing: If I (and maybe GSE & TheFerret82) leave Stansted around tennish, aim to arrive beachfront 1200-1230ish (allowing for pickups and meets along the way).
We could also arrange a stop afterwards for and hour or two at a good pub (suggestions?) for some bevvies/grub/chinwag.

don't mind time or day as only 10 mins from sea front,as for pub how about strawberry fields off a127 by tescos? easy for a130 / a13, big car park, outside seating and last visit ok food!
