Monaro VXR prices

Have prices stabilised on Monaro VXRs?

The cars been brilliant, but just for the sake of change I am thinking of selling my 06 reg VXR 6.0 Wortec Performance Pack car and trying a VXR8.

Looking at the Monaro VXR clssifieds it looks like asking prices have not moved down any over the last 6 months, or do my eyes deceive me?

You are very right, as a rough idea they have gone up £1200 in the trade guides over the last 4 months.

Lol I wish it would continue, however I can see them starting to go south in Value from next month. If they continued to rise for the next 3-4months I would be very tempted to sell myself!

Hmmm..... I remember the disbelief in Porsche land when the 993 depreciation halted, and prices started rising again. Then prices overtook the 996 values. Demand and supply + icon status I guess.

Its certainly not impossible, the only downside to that wish is that every other car has gone up in value over the same period so may well have just been following the trend. Lets hope they become like the 993's and copy them instead!

just a shame what with vauxhall being bust that you guys will now lose out on their excellent dealer backup. This can only help prices further

March09 vxr 20350, May 21075 = +£725.
Same vintage vxr8 (auto) 24250/23725.

Think they went up another £400 into June would have to double check though and they started off at a lower price in Jan than march.

VXR8's dropped £900 into June so the gap betwen the Monaro and VXR8 on an 07 plate is at an all time low, very curious to see if they swap over in values!
