Does anyone have either or all of these products fitted to their Monaro / VXR8 / Ute / Etc? And have both "before" and "after" experiences of these products?

Did they make a big difference with regards to the eradication of the agressive launch "hopping and banging" and axle tramp? Any other positive or negative differences?

Considering them as in investment on mine to finish her off.

Any feedback/reviews would be appreciated, either via private message or on the thread.

Cheers.

I had the equiv to the rear end pac and it make no difference on my VT2.
I did not have shocks or diff cover however.
Guys in Oz suggest the cover helps.

Harrop Diff cover fitted and rear subframe bushes... hate to admit it but no noticeable difference, still squirms on full bore acceleration on the road and tramps at times at the strip. Unless yours are shot I wouldnt waste yr money. To get rid of yr problems properly I think you need to go through the whole drive train and upgrade every mount which for the road would be unreasonable due to the noise transmission. Try locking the engine still with a stiffy or something similar as I know from experiance that the engine moves alot when loaded up at the strip!

It will to handling, but dont expect it to fix wheel hop.

Doing some google research and apparently the best parts to put money into to eliminate hopping are: -

a) the tyres (no loss of grip = no hopping)
b) the susepension dampers

Car is lowered on lowering springs and utilising the standard dampers. Will probably go for a set of Pedders Comfort dampers to go with the springs.

Anyone got any feedback on the Pedders Comfort dampers?

I will probably leave the Harrop cover and poly bushes. Seem a very expensive way to go for minimal (if any) gains.

Wheel Hop is very difficult to eliminate completely. Mine has the Harrop cover, all the updated bushes, AVO rear shocks, a truetrac and it still hops badly under aggressive launches at the strip.
I have just fitted some Drag bags along with a ingalls Stiffy torque damper both of these products have had good results in reducing or even eliminating wheel hop in the USA and Oz , however I have not had the opportunity to test them yet. Also some people in the USA have had success with a larger diameter drive shaft on one side?
Certainly a Tyre with some side sidewall flex and plenty of grip will help, Mickey Thompson street radial ll or something similar. Unfortunately without upgrading your stubs, driveshaft and prop you will start to break stuff especially in a manual.

Comfort dampers and springs are what the ozzies receommend for drag racing your car. If you want to save a fortune on the cover (Looks nice for £300) you can get a urethane bush which replaces the rubber one on the back of the existing housing.

I have all the above and more and it still tramped once on Saturday. FWIW I do think the bushes make a difference.

This is GM's fix in the IRS CTS-V With the LSA supercharged 6.2L engine and TVS1900 blower. They do that from the factory.
God knows where you get this larger shaft from. I guess you can install a BMR shaft on one side and stock on the other!?
