Good morning all.

I am aware that the 18" CV8 alloy wheels are 8" in width. However, what width are the 19" VXR alloy wheels? 8", 8.5" or 9"?

I have a set of Falken FK452's on them at the moment in width 245 (19".

I am looking at getting hold of a set of Toyo R888's for drag days. They only do them in a 19" fitment at the moment in 235 width. Not sure if these would fit OK, or be too narrow for the VXR alloy wheel. Also... are the R888's road legal? Or is it illegal to use them on highway at all? As may just switch to them permanently.

Thanks.
Kyle.

R888 are road legal but far from ideal it wet conditions I believe. I doubt their life expectancy is anywhere near that of other 'normal' road tyres .

8". 235 or 245 are suitable for such a rim size.

afaik the 19" Monaro VXR wheels are also 8" width so 235's should be fine. VXR8 rears are 9.5" iirc
