Balls, I've just noticed a small 2 or 3 mm stone chip on the bonnet that's started to rust!

What's the best way to fix this? It's not deep, do I need to remove the rust? Do I get some kind of anti-rust primer then use touch up paint?

Had a stone chip bang in the middle of my bonnet and it was quite deep. Looking closer it had a brown tint to it so I think it had gone through the paint and primer to the metal.

I had one of those fibreglass pens that you can use to scrap crap out of wheel dinks and dents so I used this to carefully scrap away the st out of the hole.

Put a light dab of anti-rust gel in it (careful as it does seem to mark the paint), rubbed it away and then put a dollop of touch up paint in it. Left it a week and then polished over/around it - seems OK now thumbup

Cheers dude, I think a trip to hellfrauds is required. I've got an old tube of kurust that's about 5 years old, but reckon I best get some new bits and pieces rather than start attacking the poor car with old rubbish I've had lying around.
