Got some "Liquid Leather" cleaner and conditioner the other week for the M5 to clean the very shiney worn seats and they came up like new! Tried putting the conditioner on the Ro seats (to new to need cleaning really) and they are alot softer to the touch and look a bit better to! Thoughly recomended stuff.
If you want some do a search on Liquid Leather - mile better than an Halfrauds sold stuff ie: AG etc.

I used autoglym a couple of times on my seats and they came up a treat but last time I ended up with "discoloured" patches - its not actually the leather thats marked but its an inconsistency in the "finish" coat left by the treatment. If you reckon this other stuffs any good I'll maybe give it a try see if I can get my seats back to a nice uniform finish. Seats really do need done at least 1-2 times a year to keep the leather from drying out and cracking.

I dont really rate AG TBH in this department and another benefit of the LL stuff is it gives a nice fresh leather smell although I went OTT and bought one of their leather smelling air freshner patches as well.

LL is also used by alot of the detailing guys, hence me wanting to try it in the first place.

Used Liquid Leather on my TVR seats when I had it and certainly made an improvement and revitalised them a bit. thumbup

Thanks for that Roger That was my next job. BTW the results i got with my Sealy polisher are fantastic. I'll post some pics when i get home next Monday. I have no swirls at all. Its taken three days with four different stages (with a wash in between each stage) And OMG i cant believe the bloody mess on the rubber trim furious That part alone took me four hours to rectify but it was very much worth it. I said to Col last night i would have been happy for my paint work to be Roger Hall standard and it isbounce I'm over the moon. Just the interior to do now

Bonnie - hint for the future, low tack masking tape on the rubber trim before you start, believe 3M do some nice blue stuff thats very popular with the polishing crowd.

Where do you get the liquid leather from?

I've used LL on all leather seats - the VXR8 is part leather and part suede (or something very similar), I don't want the suede part all shiny - what's the answer?

Definitely Liquid Leather every time. I ran out recently before my big road trip and used Autoglym instead, and the seats came up in this awful white bloom overnight! I was devastated - Mrs C came to the rescue and ordered my some more LL and their cleaner, and calm (and a nice smell!) was once more restored.

on the basis that it fixed your AG problem I'm going to give it a try so have ordered some. Did you use the cleaner and the conditioner to fix it or just the conditioner?

As per your first post wasnt sure if Halfords of the likes stocked it either! Will get some ordered off the net if no local shops have it in.

Had to clean it first, so yes, order both - about £13 for both delivered iirc.

I've just ordered myself some liquid leather goodness.

I always thought the Liquid Leather website was a bit poor and basic when I looked the other day, but it seems they have just launched a new shiney site this morning biggrin

I've been meaning to do my leather for a while now so I've ordered some too based on the comments above and on Detailingworld. Have always used Autoglym in the past, so will be interesting to compare.
