Excellent pics Harry. I haven't got a copy yet but i will have by this time tomorrow
So tell me Harry, how does it feel to be a celebrity
I feel i may be a bit star struck Saturday
(or at least i can use that as an excuse when my 1/4 mile times suck
)
Hope you guys haven't forgotten TV is out within the next week
HSV Dyno day is one of the main features. So get ready to cringe at the mug shots
I'll let you all know when it arrives in store

Are you entering TOTB Harry ?
It would be good fun to see a proper road car like yours at it. Although entries need to be in for start of July.
The other issue apart form the distance is the obsene amount of money the fast guys pour into their cars! Very hard to compete at that level without offloading a few hundred grand! It would be good fun to see a proper road car like yours at it. Although entries need to be in for start of July.
And who is realistically expecting to compete ? I wasnt going to go this year due to my financial situation. But in the end, with the help of friends, have decided to go again.
Although as last year, will he hitting Santa Pod on Friday, and driving up to Elvington on Sat, for racing on Sunday.
Its all about a small word, beginning with F, and ending with un.
From speaking to another guy, the entry list this year is smaller than before. Which for normal people entering, is a good thing. Hopefully it will be more private entrants this year, than the big tuners.
But its a good opportunity for a blast around a small track...albeit cones. A 1/4 mile, and a standing kilometre run all at one venue.
Its only up in York...so wouldnt have thought it too far ??

Glad to hear you are running Stevie. I am away with the family this year unfortunately, as one of my friends is now running a Supra. Is it not the standing mile anymore?

Insurers of the event didnt like a mile apaprently, and at 1km, the speed could be wired for immediate printouts.
Also at 1km, specators were allowed at the finish line to watch. Not so at 1mile apaprrently.
So it was dropped to 1km.
So only a very very very small few cars..if any will achieve 200mph in that distance. Olly Clarks Impreza hit 199mph last year, and I was behind him when he did it. The car just took off like a bullet.
Although the chances of any other car doing it are very slim.
Nope, wasnt that car. Roger Clark Motorsport built it too....but Olly's own car is much faster.
The Team Ice car is for sale now apparently, circa 100k. Although its a new car, not the blue one anymore.
I dont know how much gas they were shooting in the white car when it did that speed, but it must be a hell of a lot !!! The next closest in second was RC Developments, at 182.9mph, then myself at 181.9. Talk about ragin lol
But it shows how fast Olly's Impreza was !!!!
Doubt RC will be there this year, after they went tits up, and left many customers with no cars. Although oddly they have croped up elsewhere, under a new name. I'd imagine if they show their faces, there could be a lynch mob out for them.
