for \i have a cracker, the dog got his foot stuck in the car ramps. He was in pain and panicking, tried to help him out and he bit right into bd palm and punctured the top of my hand catching a tendon.

Unfortunately for Saturday its not my gear changing hand

There was too much heatsoak and my belt fell off.

(I do expect my AC belt will fall off!)

My clutch went to the floor and wouldnt come back. (also quite likely)

... something broke.. (Hopefully not!)

That sounds nasty! If you are lucky enough to have nerve damage it will feel like somebody else when you 'knock one out' ?

I might not have a car although I could bring the Landrover and see if I can beat Rich?

Try using a straw, mixed with strong painkillers. It worked when I broke my arms.

Oh we can't get the bearing race out and we have tried all day. We are taking it to a specialist tomorrow!

Sad thing about that is that this is real!!!!!

Bellingers!

This is now the second day they have had it. It will be three days tomorrow AARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGG!

A one hour wheel bearing change under warrantee!!!!! Yer right!

Bloody Vauxhall would not let my local agent do it so tomorrow (Please God!) I will make my fifth and sixth 35 mile trip to get my car back for Saturday!

Oh, do I wish I had just paid the £450 to get it done locally or just did it myself.

I suffer from heatsoak, its the drawbacks of a highly tuned hot cam high revving race engine frown

I am HOPING that I don't have to pull out of this event. Definitely not one to be missed. DVD is a huge bonus.

I dropped my car off at a tuner last Saturday for MOT, full 30k major service, full re-map and the fitting of Pedders Comfort dampers.

It has been put through the MOT - and flew through, no problems.

They have been carrying out the servicing and remapping work since, as well as rectifying a couple of other issues found during the inspection - they were also meant to be fitting the new dampers.

Idea was to collect it tomorrow evening when it was done.

The Pedders Comfort dampers haven't turned up yet. They were ordered them a few weeks back. 50:50 chance as to whether they will turn up in time. I am awaiting an update. Fingers and toes crossed that they have and I can get the car back before Saturday.
