Did you obtain the paint from A R Davies in Baldock in the end?

I'm pretty good using spray cans - if you don't want to do the other one, bring it over!

I did yes. thanks for pointing me in there direction. helpful blokes and a good price. not to forget a good colour match smile

ill bare that in mind when I get round to doing the other one depending on free time and the lovely British weather.

actually it was easy to remove. you need to remove the inner door tim (aobut 8 screws) see the FAQ for front speeker replacement.

Then all you need to do is carfully peal back the plastic sheet on the top courner neer the door lock.

Then you will see 2 gold coloured bolts un do then (10mm socket) and there is a small black plastic clip that holds the rod in place u can see in the first pic. (plastic clip is to the top of it). carfully prise it off and then the handle will just pop out.

sounds complex but its not.

will try and get some pics of it when i do the drivers door.

Did you use a compressor or rattle cans to spray the door handles?

rattle cans.

got the paint mixed form a local paint shop and put into there own spray can. much better then the ones you would get from VX or Halfords.
