LMAO!

Ive got Michelin Pilots on it but to be honest it does not grip that well and they cost a bomb! Gonna try Toyo T1R's next as they were very good on the M5 and their alot cheaper!

Cheers for the feedback - had to win as Gareth said Id be lynched if I lost to a ricer! smile

Yep well done mate. Hopefully you felt some pressure from my efforts even if I was carrying 200kg more kerb weight.
Next time you might not be so lucky smile
Toyo R888's and some minor intake mods and you will be history!

Hi Roger,

What is the full specification (modifications) on your car?

Wouldn't mind knowing for comparison terms - for when I was faced up against you in the Eliminator.
Was your best time of the day achieved against me - LSX25?

Cheers,
Kyle.

Thanks for that. Nice spec.

What has yours been rolling roaded at with that spec - at the wheels - power and torque?

My spec is...

LS2 - Harrop 112 running 6PSi, Intercooler, Panel Filter, AP Brakes all round, Magnecor Ignition Leads, Pedders springs (on OEM shocks), full Wortec exhaust system Inc CATS and Manifolds, Ripshifter.

OEM clutch, OEM bushes, OEM alloys with Falken 245 wide rubber all round.

I think the next modification for me is a new set of staggered fitment alloy wheels with wider rubber on the rear. I need more grip to put the 480rwhp and 585ftlbs down. The OEM clutch seems good enough for now - unless I up the PSi.

Managed a 13.343secs @ 111.62mph run - best of the day for me.

Did you have to have some arch work done to make them fit? Recommend anyone for the arch work?

Cheers Roger, Will try the toyos too as they are what are on my supra and they grip really well (Dont suppose anyone knows if you can fit Supra wheels on a HSV? as they are 10" 275 rears and 9" fronts 245)

That really depends on stud pattern, PCD (pitch circle diamter) and ET (offset) differences.

No grip? Load of old cod! You had a sub 2 second 0-60 time. Actually you drove really well, that is down to superb throttle and car control, Well done Mate.

And what I actually said was that "I would be lynched" if you lost to that ricer!!! Thanks Rog'

And, my goodness, it was awesome to watch! I reckon everybody was up on their feet for that one. The suspense was incredible as we waited for Rogers car to cool down. When he finally went over the line in front, everyone was jumping up and down and cheering. Magic moment!
