He wants to be able to adjust the shift timing and shift points.
The shift curve needs looking at. Can you do that with the 6 speed Richard?

My TCM was reprogrammed by a corvette tuner in the states, it's the 6 speed a6/6l80e and has transformed the way it drives, it's well worth getting it done if you can find someone with EFIlive scan.

Hi Andy? Yes pretty much the same as the 4 speed I think you might have looked at.
The 6l80e is also supported with efilive. You can take a look at what you can change if you download the efilive software from the .com site and obtain a tune file from here http://www.holdencrazy.com/EFILive/TuneFileReposit...

But rpm shift points, shift times and line pressures are all available for tweaking.

Thanks Richard. Can Gaz's scanner download from there and upload into the VXR8?
If so we're good to go..
I did tweak the 4 speed yes.Once i found out how the software worked then it was fairly easy to change the parameters.
Bloody fabulous piece of hardware the EFI live is.Modern cars might be a pain in the arse, but the stuff you can do to them is just awesome..biggrin
lol,yes it's Andy.

Yeah, you are better to read his TCM calibration off his car rather than that site.
It wont use a license until you go to make changes.
Mysty has had his 6 speed trans tuned and I think it made a good bit off difference for him.
Gareth's unit can do it no problem.
Let me know when you want one wink
