What sort of premium is there on them? Been offered shiny new one for just under 26k but with prices quoted elsewhere of anything from 22888 upwards for other colours still seems a bit steep.

Whatever someone is daft enough to pay. Find a dealer that actually has one and then haggle. Don't seem to be many left.

Bob, phone around and find out what colour Dealers have in stock, if you find one with a white one pop in (if its close enough, although its prob worth a drive for the right car) ask them for a car in a colour they don`t have then let the salesman sell you the white one

Gotta be the best deal you`ll get.

have a local dealer with 2 white and a red one sitting on the forecourt after he took delivery of them yesterday, he's very local ~ circa 500yds from my front door hence why I asked the question. He's wanting 27k but was prepared to knock 1k off for me as I get my 3 cars serviced there so I'm a regular customer. Just don't know that its worth the 3k extra to get a white one over the 22888 deal that aston vauxhall are offering on black/evoke even taking the "local" factor into the purchase. After all 3k would pay for a cam upgrade and maybe one or two other small tweaks.

baz - know what you mean re the Mrs, mines the same, took her along to look at them last night and to quote her "it looks like a taxi" "horrible front fog lights" "hideous huge arse" "looks like a VW" so I think she may be coming round to it

Get a written quote from another Dealer and show it to him, if he values your custom he`ll match it I`m sure.

If you have a Fax, rip off a letter with details of the quote you have and send it to every dealer in the country offering them the chance to quote.

(It works every time for me in the Building Trade, and saves hours of phone work)

I went into Archie Moss yesterday about an LS3 and they were not in the least interested in beating another price. That had their price and that was it!!

That seems like a bargain, for a white one......
