Would anyone with increased BHP (especially with dyno graphs) like a sim of their cars performance? Just some theoretical numbers on accleration / top speed(which do match reality very well) of performance.

An example is here with a (6.9 LS3 Cerbera), with the sim matching real life drag strip times.

I'd do it with some software, Cartest2000 which produces just about any numbers thinkable smile

I've done a lot of work with TVR's with engine swaps (LS ones generally) and superchargers and in the case of the 6.9 above recommended the diff ratio for optimum performance (after having a TKO600 box with a very tall 5th).

Just some fun, once there is a basic model of a car, it only takes minutes to "modify" car.

http://www.cartestsoftware.com/cartest2000/index.h...

If you've not seen it, it is rather comprehensive, shift points can be set (optimum ones calculated anyway), launch rpm etc...

For starters, detailed specs of your car as it was in standard form, then we can start modifying the numbers...

There are a lot of cars in already so I'll check.......

Update - Harry, I have a model but got curious results out. Will investigate again and get back to you fairly shortly.

No problem Steve, have models of TVR's with TKO600 boxes already (Jellies ex Chim 575 being one). Guess you mean a 3.08 diff?

The only extra info I think I need is the revs of peak power and the torque/revs too.

Easy enough to change the final drive too and rerun the software - send me a PM and tell me what your aim is performance wise (as I'm nosey) smile

OK thanks for correcting me, I was assuming one of the standard BTR ratios.

No email so far.
