Odyssey VXR

Well, not exactly as they never made one but I think this looks stunning. Wondering if I can achieve a similar look with my CV8 which is the same colour. What do you think?

You know you can have one if you really want one.....

I went to VBOS today and saw a number of 04 CV8's. Just re-inforced how much more aggressive a profile the 6.0litre VXR's looks. Should look good, just personally I'm biased in favour of the metallic blue.

I know I could have a VXR but I like the colour of my Odyssey CV8 which is rarer. They didn't do a VXR in that colour so I'm thinking of adding some VXR wheels to mine for a similar look.

If I swapped mine for a VXR I'd also have to swap the engine which is too much hassle.

How many Odyssey CV8'S are there in the UK, thats what colour mine is......just wondering.

Well I have one, my Dad has one and so do you so I guess 3?

It was a colour produced for one year only for the VZ CV8 which was the rarest model behind the V2 VXR.

Looks very smart I have to say - the pictures are also good which helps a bit I suppose. I agree that colour does really suit the car.

I'm wondering what an Impulse blue VXR would look like as I'm thinking of putting the rear spoiler on my CV8 so might go the whole hog ?

I can't remember where but I heard just 25 Odysseys were imported and I know of 2 that have been scrapped. One was on the back of a recovery truck at Greens of Rainham when I collected my new Odyssey in June '06. It's nearside was caved-in from front to rear wheel-arches.

yep I saw an Odyssey in the local scrapyard couple of years back - was sold to someone down near Lesmahagow that was going to knock worst of dents out, strip it and use it as a trackday car.

Looks good. I have front and rear bumpers and rear spoiler in stock. Much less than VX money. You would just need the side skirts to finish.

Still regret not bothering with the roof spoiler a couple of years ago !!

Looks good. I have front and rear bumpers and rear spoiler in stock. Much less than VX money. You would just need the side skirts to finish.

Do you need the lights for as well for the 04 cars if you fit the new VXR bumper/bonnet? Sure I saw someone talking about it - moulding on the lights is slightly different on the older cars? Or am I just talking nonsense and getting confused with the older model commodores?
