And I'm wondering if the great knowledge here will be able to tell me the answer.

I would like the dent removed obviously, its located on the rear quarter panel about a foot from the door, below the rear window of the monaro.

Can I get a dent dude to push this out if interior trim is removed?

I have asked Roger at the fish, just wondering if anyone can put my mind at rest!!!

Thanks

If its not on the swage line then you should be OK so long as there is no defined bend in the metal - ie: a crease.

Fasiling that book it into the bodyshop and ask your mate to cough up!

Came back to mine just after I bought it to find a masive dent just behind the rear edge of the door, where someone had clearly opened their car door heavily onto it. I had the dent taken out by a fantastic dent guy, who operates in Essex/Kent. Really nice bloke and really good at it too.

However, that wa 2 years ago and I would have to say that the metal has "relaxed" slightly now and whereas you couldn't see a trace of it after it was done, you can now if you know what/where you're looking - although it's very faint and not generally noticeable. If I were selling I'd probably get him back just to tweak it again.

It may be possible to pull it out with a suction puller rather than take all the trim off. If you value the car I suggest you get an expert to straighten it. Pulling the original dent out could well be a simple job; removing the creases you put in when you get it wrong may be an impossible one.

Well the dent has gone, and only the questionable pressings of the Monaro panels remain biggrin

All without an interior strip down, which I was prepared to do in works carpark biggrin

Sorted from outside the car with some plastic widgets, funky blue "glue" and a weight on a stick smile

Needs cleaning and Ill be happy again....
