K&N Filter Help

Have purchased the above, part number 33-2116 off of e-bay under the assurance that it will fit a 2006 6.0 VXR, however, I'm not so sure, Info is = Height 0.938in (24mm) Outside Length 11.375in (289mm) and Outside Width 9in (229mm). The K&N web says this only fits a 2005 5.7 Monaro. Anyone know for sure before I open the box and try and fit it. Can anyone at the Fish assist ? Thanks

I may be mistaken , but I think the VZ CV8 has the same size airbox, and therefore filter, as the VXR. That code you have there is the same as the one I fitted to mine BTW.

If you wanted the fish to assist, you should have bought it off them LOL.

Yeah, should of done, but it's brand new and only cost £20, doubt if the fish do it for that! Thanks for your assistance

You can check the filter here on the K&N filter site by car. That filter is for a early CV8

They're the same. There are some tiny lugs that need shaving off with a stanley knife, but my K&N has been in both my CV8 and 6.0litre VXR.

Thanks all, fitted it last night altho did not shave the little lugs of !! Might have to do that tonight !
