Who is any good at VXR insurance as the normal brokers come up with crazy quotes?

Nightmare car to insure.

Quick, driven by young people on drugs, very attractive to thieves.

Greenlight - http://www.greenlightinsurance.co.uk/

Best quote I managed to get when I was looking around, was getting silly prices before them

I always shop around but end up with Admiral each time purely based on price.

Do they accept mods as this seems to be an issue with many

Greenlight do, admiral will insure a modded car (used them for the supra) but will not cover them if damaged.

just to clear up the car's covered not the mods so they'll pay out for replacement based on stock parts, I'm with admiral and with mods/remap declared I'm under 500 quid for the Monaro.

Worth adding to the list is Chris Knott Insurance 0800 917 2274. They asked what the best quote I had was (Elephant so far) and came back and beat it by 10%. It's now down to £670 for a London based VXR8 not garaged and with no tracker which is a good price.
