In the Monaro

I sort of knew what to expect but bl**dy hell - i use to do the same bridge (Under M1 so wide enough for a bit of open throttle action) in my Supra with a NurSpec R which sounded great, but this time my ears were actually ringing as i came through

Not sure what the poor guy walking under there at the time must have thought laugh

Obviously had to go back the same way afterwards

Headers and a Wortec sound soooo good bow

should try out a few tunnels if you think the bridge was fun, Dartford - long, narrow but a bit busy to get a decent run, north Wales - few good tunnels up along the north coast road, south Wales - just outside Newport on the M4 there's a nice one if you get a run at it, Glasgow - Clyde tunnels ok but you tend to choke on the fumes if your windows open. As you may have guessed once you find a tunnel you tend to make mental notes and find any excuse to go back that way anytime you're close by

Dartford Tunnel is a bit iffy now with average speed cameras. with these cars you gain so much speed quickly with wide open throttle its hard to get full volume.

It's an average speed. Slow down for a while beforehand, make sure you pick a car ahead and don't pass it.

Bugger... are they through both tunnels then? I was looking forward to my annual trip to the DTM at Brands this year for the tunnel on the way back.

Dean... did you have the windows all the way down when you blasted under the bridge? It's only when I did that did I realise the hell I'd unleashed on everyone behind hehe
