Just wondered whether the CV8 has a front anti roll bar as I see Monkfish sell uprated front drop links ?

As my '04 CV8 has just been fitted with the uprated links and they are definately attached to something, I'd say yes!

yes it definitely does has a front roll bar and as a minimum change I'd suggest the poly bushes for it though if really serious Whiteline and I believe Pedders as well do uprated versions for both the front and rear that are thicker and adjustable than the rather flimsy stock items.

Is that the uprated ones on the Monkfish website ? Did you notice much of a difference ?

Are they a 'do-it-yourself' job or is it more tricky than that ?

Yes they are the ones from Monkfish. I can't really say that I have noticed an enormous difference, but my car already had the Road Response Pac (with poly bushes for the original droplinks) and new dampers, so a lot of he 'slop' should have been dealt with in any case. The effect may be more noticeable on a car without the RR Pac.

One of the original droplinks needed replacing so I thought I might as well replace the pair with uprated parts. They were in stock at the Fish so probably easier to obtain than the VX parts too.

I didn't fit them myself, but it didn't look a particularly tricky job. A couple of bolts were rusty and rounded which required a special socket that I don't have anyway, but they were both on in about 40mins.
