Has anybody here attempted to remove one? Passenger side one has been damaged by 'er indoors and I want to replace it. Easy to do or will I do more damage trying to remove it?

If you mean the door sill plates? Yes they come off but not easily. They are stuck on with some bd child of superglue and bluetack. Heat gun and careful peeling, scraping and they'll come off without damaging the paint underneath. I bled a little getting mine off, careful the edges of the plates can be quite sharp smile

Oh cack.... ok, thanks. I'll probably have a go when I'm on holiday. In the meantime it's a case of what you don't see won't bother you as it's on the other side of the car.

They're not tooo bad. Got impatient with my second one and succeded by lifting enough of one side to get a hand grip and applied some brute force and ignorance to rip it off. Worked though in half the time. You will destroy the plate getting it off.
