KEYFOB BATTERY

My central locking on the passenger door only works from about two feet away. So iam presuming that the battery in the keyfob must be down on power. The handbook says to take it to the dealer, is this any more of a case of undoing the two screws and changing the battery inside ????????

no the two screws only take the blade out , you have to buy a new fob and get it reprogramed ,,,not good
