Yes you can - Volume Dependent Control iirc. Volume rises as db increases in cabin. Can't remember how to set it in the 'ro as I junked the OE head unit about 3 years ago. (I think it *might* be automatically set)bob.hsv.5.7 said:

99.9% of the time i don't have the stereo on........but if i'm on the motorway i'll have it on sometimes, when i do i could be listening to anything from Enya to Metallica, even Napalm Death if i'm in the right mood!
But in a few weeks i'm getting a Wortec Catback - won't need the stereo at all then.

like everyone else I love to drive around with the windows down and enjoy the sound of the engine. When I want to listen to tunes I've got an alpine head unit with an ipod connection in the glovebox. Music varies vastly but since I got 2 small sub boxes for behind the seats I like some prodigy or some other bass heavy dance music....only thing that can drown out the engine noise. Doors, stones & even cold chisel have their own playlists. Different playlists for different moods/speeds
