I am about to change the engine coolant in the Ro, any idea which is the best type for the LS1. Also anything I need to look out for or is it a straight forward job?

The engine oil of choice will be royal purple, however I seem to recal that you have to change the sump plug at every oil change, is that right or will the old one be OK?

Thanks again...

Errr, not quite! Do not mix blue or green coolant with pink(y) coolant. You will have nice brown sludge.

Old sump plug will be fine. Normally it's only the compression washer you need to change but these have sump plugs with rubber oil seals, so no real issue unless it's damaged and leaks. (assumption that the ls1 plug is the same as the ls2).
P.S If you get a filter from VX make sure you have the right one. VX managed to give me a VXR8 one which only realised was wrong when I went to fit mad. you would have thought they were the same anyway, but no. Different thread diameter.

That's what confused me also. Maybe if it was for the LS3, but they didn't seem to think so.
