Anyone got a VXR or vented bonnet (assuming the VXR has actual vents) in Black to fit an 04 CV8?

My 05 spec CV8 has a vented bonnet as standard, I am sure it is the same as a VXR. The vents do work but have rain baffles in them which can be removed.
The real purpose of the vents was to please the American GTO market.
They also allow the engine to cool down a bit quicker, I have noticed a heat haze coming from them on hot days.....
As for the cost of a new one...well you had better sit down when you call a Vauxhall dealer. Try Monkfish they will be able to get you a ball park figure.

The carbon bonnets in the link above work out at £561 EACH incl. air freight if purchased in three offs. One offs £640. plus vat and import duty.
