How many overall Monaro V's VXR8
Discussion
Hi All,
Some recent topics seem to think that the Monaro in either VXR Or CV8 guise are about to. or have fallen into the wrong hands, these shall we say "Rong'uns" will probably use and abuse a few and maybe be good in the long term for Monaro owners (well in terms of spares etc, mabee not so for insurance)
How will Monaros fair with the VXR8, Long term?

I'm not sure there is a fair comparison available here - they are both made by Holden and have V8s - that's about it though.
Long term, the Monaro will be rarer - it's a Coupe and would and will still attract a different customer. I remember this from my days with the Calibra and Cavalier Turbo - although in that case the Cavalier was the rarer car and now fetch a few bob!

There are currently almost 50% more Monaros than VXR8s in the UK. I think that makes the VXR8 the rarer.
Yes but they no longer make the Monaro. Apparently their making 20 VXR8'S every 10 mins;) so i think IMHO that the VXR8 are the new clitoris car

Wouldn't have expected any different, Mel. It's what makes it fun on here. Don't change. (Never let the facts get in the way of a good story, eh?)

Funnily enough (and this is the truth) Stig sent it to me a few months back because i got excited at some V8 meet. I thought i'd return the favourregards
sam
It is very funny. I did actually speak to Stig while he was driving home with his "all included in the new VXR8 blue tooth phone thing" and he was very close to messing on his wipe clean leather
He'll deny it but i can tell

There is a shipment of LS3 VXR8's coming to the UK February 2010. 500 of the little beauties. Not sure if our tree will have blossomed in time for the current dwindling batch so we will be having a Heron White, thankyou reserved for Feb
Racing col on the strip will be great fun next year
