stalling problem

has anyone ever had the most annoying problem where you get in the car, drive down the road and it just cuts out for no reason? very annoying, and it happens in the most annoying places! and with everyone looking at your car as you have broken down in the worst place asking what car is it!! ahhhhhhhhhh!! any ideas??

YES mate! (And STILL have sweaty nightmares about it!) 'twas the throttle body sensor (for me anyway) requiring replacement of the whole throttle body. (courtesy of the fish). Took me a long time to finally source the problem for certain. As you say, VERY annoying and embarrassing stopping dead all over the place!

same for me throttle body ...fish is cheapest unless under warrenty ?? depending on mods!! vx 700/900 fish 491.00

i thought it might be, i take i that the whole unit needs replacement? life would not be that easy ...
