Pedders suspension packages
Discussion
The next thing on my list of upgrades is the drive system and suspension. I'm convinced decent suspension and weight transfer is more important than tyre width so I'm thinking of one of the Pedders suspension packages and would appreciate a personal experience recommendation.
I'm thinking of "GTO Street Pack II", "Serious Street" or maybe the "Strip II" Package; there are loads of confusing options. The objective is to get more power down by keeping the tyre in contact with the road and more controlled weight transfer. It also needs to be daily driver compliant and I know how easy it is to get wrong.
Secondly, I'm thinking of going with the BMR prop, half shafts/stubs to avoid this:

Have a look at Gforce1320.com his stuff is top notch and running on some of the fastest Monaro/GTOs in the world.
Both myself and Crestaracing are running his inner stubs and drive shafts, I also have the Carbon fibre Prop shaft however it’s not on the car yet.
If you need any more info check out LS1GTO.COM, drive train section

Drag Bags are worth their weight in gold. best cure I've tried for axle tramp.
If you are going to get drive shafts go for one larger diameter, as this allegedly cures tramp also.
I believe GM used this method on the Caddy CTS to cure their tramp issues.
You're not suggesting these for road use are you Martin???If you are going to get drive shafts go for one larger diameter, as this allegedly cures tramp also.

I have mine in all the time but only inflate them to a couple of pounds on the road, primarily so they are not flat .
To be honest I have never had any axle tramp issues on the road even without drag bags, but on the drag strip axle tramp is a real problem on these cars.
I would not recommend them as a suspension / handling mod, however if axle tramp is an issue start with bags, as they are cheap as chips and really make a difference.
