Hi all just had new gearbox fitted at motorbodies Luton, car much smoother and don't have to push out of car spaces any more(no reverse when hot)very embarrasing!!!!!!!!

Looking into upgrades??

Thought about Supercharger but afraid won't utilise the power, I want a little more grunt and noise so looking into Walkinshaw power upgrades and re map, anyone had these???? what they like???

Call Mark at RapidGB, then Roger at Monkfish performance. Ask them what they charge for a TVS 1900 supercharger installation then make you choice.

Alternatively, try to source a second hand 122 SC, they are the last generation but still fantastic. Good value now. the Bathhurst S VXR8 has one fitted.

As a guide, pay 4.5k for a second hand 122 mapped and fitted or 6.5k for a TVS. If you are quoted more, walk away.

Both will give you the kick you are looking for and you WILL use the power, believe me. If you want a ride in mine I live in Bedfordshire and am happy to help.

Hi Teresa

You don't by chance own a Red CV8 VZ, Saffron Walden area?

Used to see you regularly heading south, whilst I head north to Cambridge area... ??

I have spoken to walkinshaw and I think for the time being I am just going to go with the power upgrade and new bi modal this will add about 30 bhp, booked in earliest October, I won't track or drag her (too much of a whimp)so at this time I think I will just wimp out
