Must say I was a little dissapointed with the standard VXR8 handling on the first demo car I drove....felt very soft under underdamped particularly on fast B roads.
The Bathurst demo I then tried had the Walkinshaw coilovers and was a complete revelation in comparison...it was one of the main reasons why I chose it over the standard car. More controlled, firmer damping but didnt make the ride harsh at all.
Dont think its particularly cheap (£1700 fitted I think) but it does transform the handling and keep the warranty people happy.

any good suspension kits out there for the VXR8? Mine has the 20" wheels but does need more advanced damping.
Something that can be electronically altered would be good.

Any chance of a photo of your car as I can't find any with the 20" wheels
