I know this has been mentioned somewhere before but I cant find it.

Every now and again I get a slight shudder when moving at bugger all speed (normally reversing into a space etc) through the steering wheel.

Would I be right in thinking this is some top mount or brush or the like?

sure this has been mentioned before by others on here and reply from those in the know has always been check/replace strut top mounts/bushes as the stock ones are crap and prone to falling apart. Think Monkfish stock Pedders uprated versions designed to last a bit longer.
