Hello,

Noticed afterday afternoon that my drivers seat has kinda got a little confused, basically it remembers the seat position but you move the seat and non of the 3 presets do anything. Also when you press the button to return seat to original position after putting something on the rear seat it carries on going.

I have heard of this problem once before and cure at the time was supposed to be clean a sensor, any of you guys come across this problem and know any sort of DIY for it ?? The green light is still green and it makes all the right noises for memory so I suspect it is something silly like it can't tell you moved the seat.

Or failing that does anyone know of a fuse I can pull to see if that helps ?

Cheers
Steven

Steven,

This might work, I had the same problem but it seemed to clear it's self after I pulled the fuse to the BCM when I fitted the clocks. I think there are seperate fuses for the seats in the fuse box under the dash, you could also try pulling them to see if that works.

Hi Paul,

Thanks I will give that a try. APs are fab (except for the nice red dust) and Mrs was impressed with Oxford and Stratford-upon-avon, did just under 410 miles all in all.

Cheers

Hello, just to let you know. I removed the seat fuse & the seat moved fully forwards but it not fix the problem. So I pulled the bcm fuse & again no change. I then had a play with the seat for a min & it started working again smile

Thanks
Steven
