Can anyone help please.I have the Wortec switchable exhaust, filter, cold air feed, and Wortec re-map.I would like to add the Wortec headers. What else would be needed or are the headers ok alone.Hoping for 20ish bhp gain, is this possible?.

Yes. You need to speak to Monkfish for a price as Wortec only deal through it's ditributors.

seems like a valid question ... theres quite a few of us who have only just bought a vxr8 but i guess we'll have to ask for guidance and spend our dollar, probably unwisely at first, elsewhere

If its a valid question then why not ask a valid Wortec dealer instead of posting a very specific product query here? Nobody can authoritively answer it unless they are a wortec dealer. Hence see my initial response above of the most excellent helpfulness smile

he asked for advice and an "in the know" opinion, nothing more. in fact he posted "Can anyone help please" which seems clear. this is quite clearly ur lamp post to **** up as u wish. sum of us new to the vxr8, and as pykies, are clearly beneath u in many ways including charm and intellect ... so stand corrected and will put our hands up before daring to ask a question

You have another option: I had a Wortec cat back to which I added 1 7/8" Defilippo headers (I have a complete Defilippo system now). RapidGB sell these if you want to explore your options; it saved me a few hundred quid going this route.

Another option would be to have your headers custom made by someone like AAS in Newcastle. This could save you a few more quid (or not if you tick the titanium option) yikes

We had the same set up as you mate only on our Monaro. The only thing to do IMHO is to finish what you've started with the Wortec Headers. Thats what we did just a couple of weeks ago and i tell you what, the difference in performance and sound is awesome. Headers will give you and extra 20-30hp. After getting that done you may not want anymore power. If you do then maybe go for a cam

I'm with you 100% on the 'Ro, Mel. But the VXR8 standard headers are not as bad as the 'Ro, so I think the jury's out on those.
