bring your sat navs on the day , last 1/2 miles is confussing and the pub is not in plane site

On Sunday 20th september 12.00pm (crooked billet).........

We have picked this aera in the hope that it will be easy for other forum members to get to

This pub has a kids play area, and very large garden, also outside eating area.
The car park will be sectioned of for our cars only, with room for over 30 cars,
pics below ... So when you arrive, drive to the back of the carpark to our area.
Both parts of the car park in the pics will be ours.

After being there and talking to the owners ,(chris and andrea)
It would be best for us to have a buffet lunch,
This will only cost 4.00 per adult.
This can be paid on the day,
but would be nice to get the money up front as i will have to pay for the food
in advance.
(kids food free) plus a party bag for the kids.

This will help keep the costs down and save extra money for petrol.
If the weather is very good, we will have our own eating area outside (the decked patio in the pics..)
Also if the weather is very good on the day , there will be a BBQ as well, but at extra cost on the day.

So will need names and numbers asap .. please

Also had forum name plates made for everyone.. so if you are thinking of leaving it to the last minute please put your name down asap so we can get other names made .. Thanks

As before if you would like a pit stop on your travels, you can meet up at my pub (sherwood oak) at 9.30/10.am for free bacon rolls and s or
all are welcome.

Then the convoy will leave the Sherwood at 10.30
Note: From my pub to the Crooked Billet , there are 4 tunnels on route.

Hartelpool - North East, nothing ever happens up this way its not good!

Unfortunately nearly always work Sundays probably get 1 in 3 off just get used to it.

after, well i think you should try and make it as 007 and i went there today and its a very nice pub and food is very good !! it will take us about an hour and 1/2 to get there

i think it would be nice for members to all meet up and kick a tyre or two

As say would love to and if I can certainly will but is very much down to work, the 3 hour drive each way isnt a problem as always enjoy it, normally a bit too much!

I cant make the 20th myself but for those who can here is an additional suggestion..... I understand the Croxley Green car show is that weekend. It may be worth a run down there in the afternoon, its about 25 mins from Stevenage, and at least two pubs overlooking the green.

Have been a couple of times before and it is very user friendly, easy to park, steam fare, and seems to get bigger every year.

Could be worth a visit in the afternoon, close to Watford / Hemel area.
