My VXR8 @ Cadwell Park Vid
Discussion
Some HD Vid of the VXR8 on track........much more grip and than I expected, and sadly mid speed / high speed understeer which you could not overcome with the throttle alone.

Was a great time and the car performed brilliantly however, some naughty sideways antics near the end

Completely stock car.....tyres were fine to be honest, a little scuffing around the edges and some centre "block" movement in the tyre pattern causes a little heat distortion but all good no problems really.
The vid was taken at 1080p then compressed via Nero Essentials to 720.......maybe its not quite 720p as I understood the filter to be tho ??
Next clip I will upload in 1080p instead maybe.

Great vid Mark, decent lap time too, shows how our cars can do corners pretty well! Get some coilovers on and you can dial out some of that understeer, or some more power so you can bring the back end round when in 3rd
Wouldn't bother uploading better quality vidoes to youtube as they will reencode them anyway at a lower resolution and bitrate.

Cheers guys, I have to say the BMW chassis is better balanced out of the box tho, and that goes for every BMW I have every owned.
I need some time to find the correct driving style for this car because quite frankly my over aggressive style does not suit the heavy VXR at all, in earlier laps where I wasn't trying to cock around the car responded much more tidy.
Very confident with some small tweaks to my driving style and some suspension adjustments I can make this car every bit as good as a BMW in the chassis dept. tho.
