Hello,

This maybe a dumb question, but this is the first time I will have done this in my own car. What have most of you done for insurance ? Is it just a case of calling your current insurance company and saying you are having a drag/airfield day ?

Cheers
Steven

Probably best not to tell them, all at your own risk and all that.........

Difficult one.......I would personally only get special insurance on a track (twisty) day. There is very little risk on a straightline day, as long as you check tyres, brakes, fluids etc you will be fine. There is approx 1mile braking zone and run off. Ultimately it is personal preference.

Thanks, that is the thing it is not really a track day as just a pair of cars on a very wide tarmac'ed area.

Will see what my conscience tells me

Too late! It is all now in the public domain. Anyway, if I crash at that speed I won't be worried about insurance. LOL.
