Finally made a decision and stuck to it for a change and that is i'm going to hang onto my Ro instead of going for a VXR8. Plus its cheaper

Anyways I still enjoy the Ro and thanks to Monkfish I now have the bits to shut up that whining PAS pump for good. So its booked in to my local for a service, PAS pump + rusty pipe change and some Royal purple for the box. Cant decide whether to recon the wheels next / sort out the door handles and stone chips or go for the cat back system and a remap. hmmm decisions.

Good decision thumbup

I was sorely tempted to go for a VXR8 at those silly prices but couldn't really justify it as I don't use the car that much and don't need a 4 door.

I like the coupe and its looks so i'll be happily sticking with mine.

Hope that photo was taken where you live, if so your a lucky man !!

Think it was about £80, its the hard pipe that runs behind the crank pulley to the rack, it was looking bad especially round the 'P' clips.

Cheers, nah that was a recent fishing trip to Millport on the West coast, only a couple of hours from me oh and 10mins in the ferry.

I guess there's no point doing the body work before winter when it could well get blasted with the dreaded gritters mad I've got in my mind a Cat back then remap and looking into changing the diff because the cars not quick enough for me. LOL

They say you have a better fuel economy with the remap. So if you pretend that's true you can save the money for the rest simply by driving smile

Ha very true, so far so good and that must be at least 2000 miles they've done.

Good choice clap Your cars gorgeous but then i'm biasedhehe We had our wheel refurbed a few months back? Are you going to keep them the same or go for something a bit different? We had ours mirror polished which came out really well for stock wheels (we think anyway)

They do look nice. I was thinking about getting them finished in black chrome but that might be too dark, maybe a chrome effect powder coating but i'm not sure. I know the place i used last time will pretty much do any finish including diamond cutting so that'll be another thing that'll take me ages to decide on
