Me either!

I've been up at Monkfish today and had my old AVO coilovers taken off, and one of the Pedders kits put on. Oh man, what a difference. My car sounded terrible up to that point. Rattling from the back, grinding warping metal sounds from the front over bumps and turning on full lock. A mate even joked "This is an Aussie car right? that explains the Rolf Harris wobble board sounds coming from the suspension" Cheeky git.

Now, not only does it not make a peep (absolute bliss), but no loss of handling and ride.

Andy, Roger, thanks a million for today. I will call to let you know how I'm getting on with the Pedders once I've run it in and taken the car round the known trouble spots.

It was nice talking to the Autocar fellas and getting some pics taken. I'm glad I got up early to wash it now. Always a pleasure to see 007 and family of course.

I know some people have enquired about the Pedders kits in the past. Once I've had a good old run on them I will post my thoughts. Happy so far though.

Ha ha, very sorry mate. Was yours the silver VXR8? If so, why is the rear spoiler off? Having something done?

He took it off to reduce its considerable weight disadvantage at the drags... still got wiped though! smile

Someone also mentioned something about a bike rack being in its place so thats also a possibility I suppose....

I went for 'low' as I use my Ro as a daily driver and the roads near my work are shocking. Pot holes, speed bumps, low curbs etc. I think low is pretty much as low as I would want to go. Roger and Andy said that low is almost back to stock height. I really can't see that myself, although they are the experts. My back boxes are currenty sitting about 4" from the tarmac on level ground and I grounded out over a speed bump near my house that I have never ground out on before. That purely might be just down to differences in kit from AVO to Pedders, or the fact my 14 stone mate was sitting in the back seat.

I need to speak to Andy about that, but gonna give them a proper run first. I'm convinced it is lower than my original setup not higher

Ride wise, it is lovely. Much more smooth than they AVO, low, firm and nice and tight on the corners. My dad and my friend fell alseep in the car on the way home from the Fish. They were joking that they wouldn't have been able to do that on the way up there.

I left them with Monkfish to do with as they please. Get on the phone to Roger or Andy asap and see if they will let you have them. As far as I'm concerned, if they will let you have em, they're yours

If you can get them, let me know. I still have the Damping Rate adjuster in the glove box. I can pop it in the post for you. Good luck with the Fish.

Glad you got them ok, you should have a PM. Shame you're not coming to the meet as I would have accepted a cheeky drink wink and could have given you the damping rate adjuster in person. Good luck with the fitting.
