One for the bikers - Troy Bayliss racing a Commodore
Discussion
Troy Bayliss will become a rookie all over again this weekend when the three time World Superbike Champion gets behind the wheel of a Paul Morris Motorsports Commodore. Bayliss will team up with Dean Fiore in the first endurance race of the 2009 V8 Supercar Championship Series.

And if you don't know who Troy Bayliss is then shame on you....he is a legend in Motorcycle racing. (and Australian!)

I think the Valvoline car went in quicker but managed to pull up before crossing the other part of the track. Can't find footage of that.

There has been some proper bad smashes at PI over the years, and I cannot believe that there was nothing the other side of the gravel trap to "physically" stop something going across at speed.
Awesome track and I hope they do not slow that straight down because of it, ala Conrod Straight at Bathurst.......
