I know there was an old thread ages ago on this, but I cant find it.

I've been meaning to pick up some replacement carpet clips as my Ro came with none. I've heard the plastic ones snap easy, so was looking at Metal ones. I remember a forum member getting some metal ones machined for him based on the plastic design.

Will any of the following GTO clips fit?:

Did anyone end up getting some of these?

I ordered some of the polished ones, they fit and look ok. It took about 10 days for delivery from the states, quality isn't bad either smile

Thanks for the response. I ordered some yesterday and they've been shipped. Once I've got them fitted, I'll post what I think of them.

I'm sure you don't need instructions on fitting odd shaped things into tight holes biggrin

As for the rest, I'll see what I can do wink

Mine came from "browncadillac" (ebay user name)... Yours could be held up in customs? I've had stuff thats taken ages to get through there in the past... frown

Ordered mine from the same place. Must be customs or the blooming postal strike. Hopefully they will turn up in the next day or so.

Picking mine up from the post office this morning (I hope). Looks like I got stung by customs. Twelve pounds and bloody fifty four pence. That's half the cost of the clips. Importers beware! Cheeky gits.

£4 VAT, fair enough. £8 + for Royal Mail handling fee! For what? lol the cheek of it.

They are very nice quality clips though. Worth the purchase.

Just fitted them. They are very nicely made. Worked out about £20 for a set of 4. Once they are locked in, they stay in very well. Just a shame I got stung by customs. Happy to post pics if people are interested.
