LS2 uses the shorties ?

Ive a set of normal style Bosch fitment RC Eng 750cc injectors.

But the ones you seek are readily available on ebay etc, Racetronix or a variety of sources ( that Five-o place too )

regardless of power, it would be pointless fitting anything smaller than the 60lb Siemens.

They are damn good inejctors, and available at very good prices.

Thats what I have, they are closer to 70+ lb in the LS as it uses 4bar pressure instead of 3bar at which the 60lb's are rated at.
You dont want to go too much bigger than you need because min pulse width at idle and low speed may mean you run too rich.

Dole boy - yes but not this year, 122 wont do it.

Rich - Totally agree hence only 60lb ones. Ran bigger on my old turbo bike and it was lumpy at low revs for it.

Mark should have some 60lb injectors sitting on the shelf which came out of mine when I had my 122. Have you asked?

What size where the ones that came out then?

According to my calculations you would have needed about 42lb bare minimum before.

Flow tested and they were about 40!

There is a sale on injectors over on LS1GTO.COM in case you are interested
www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=306478
I don’t know if it’s the case with a Harrop 122 on a LS2, but a Harrop 112 on an LS1, the injector could be a different length for a standard LS1 EV1 injector. It depends on build dates of the Harrop kit I believe.
I was advised of this by the Fish as I need a set of 60s myself, but need to measure my existing ones before I order.
Might be worth checking before spending any hard earned.

Martin I fear you will also soon require some additional displacement, if only to keep up with the competition smile

If you fit higher rated injectors does the car still only flow the amount it requires?

Could be worth looking into from a safety point of view incase the std ones are pushed too hard!

Yes, but you have to correct the injector flow rate table for the new larger injector flow.

On your second point yes definately, hence why people fit larger injectors in the first place.

What about the fuel pump does that not need upgrading?

It can do, more so FI as you need to run richer and burn more fuel per bhp earnt due to attrocious efficiency waste that is FI.
Factor about 30% more fuel capacity for FI rwhp than NA rwhp, that applies to injectors as well as fuel pump.

Not a fan of FI efficiency then lol

Would the pump need upgrading for the 60lb injectors?

Not sure mate, mine are fine, but I doubt Im anywhere near max duty.
If they were I think I would need to upgrade. Apparenty stock vxr8 has a good pump good for 600rwhp though not sure if thats NA or FI and yank numbers etc.
Best thing is to check fuel pressure under sustained load.

Theres a regulator in the LS1 that restricts fuel pressure to 410kPa (60 psi).

Gave up trying to match that to flow rate when I realized I didn't know the diameter of the fuel line......
