No. Anyway, there's a 15 gallon fuel tank between the back seats and the boot on the VZ models, so wouldn't be much use!

Aha smileSo they can be changed. Did you go to a specialist??

The reason I'm asking is that this was the only downside I could find about the Monaro, so I spent ages surfing for a solution but I never found one.

5 min job to remove rear seats. When Bonnie says she changed hers she means she swapped the one with burst stitching for a new one (wont ask how she and Clyde burst the stitching). She didnt change it for something different from stock.
Even with the older cars (04 or VY II) theres a metal barrier separating the boot space from the rear of the seats so a custom 60/40 rear would require major surgery.

Mel,

You can always regain the lost boot space with a custom fuel tank - like Harry's or similar. We would gain about 50% of the boot back but suspect its a little expensive !!

Did cross my mind at one point after seeing Harry's earlier on in the project. Not sure how the insurance company would take it though - mods, yes have cut a big hole in the boot floor and shoved my petrol tank in it

Cheers
Steven
