3 Spotted in the Highlands!

Yellow CV8 southbound north of Aviemore, Silver VXR southbound at Helmsdale and Red CV8 southbound at Latheron. Mini meet or something? I was in the black Jag XKR heading North and flashing/waving like a fool!

Good to see you anyway. I was returning from a 1000 mile road trip to York on business via Edinburgh and Aviemore as stop offs. Enjoy your holiday? Driving roads are fun in the Monaro up here!

Dear V6 JDT,

I did, Mrs Noise less so. She said she found it a bit nervewracking both as driver and passenger.
I'm so glad I got the VXR springs in place of the Pedders super-low now. The roads up there are quite bumpy.

Having a puncture and no spare tyre didn't help. I thought the spacesaver fitted over the rear calipers (APs) but not the front, oh no it doesn't! This meant we had a day without a car while a tyre was delivered from Inverness (to Lochcarron). The AA sub'd the job to West End Motors who did a great job.
I've searched a bit on this site and maybe there's a spacesaver from early VXRs which will fit in the spare wheel well AND over the rear APs. I may start another thread to ask how I get one.

We still did over 2000 miles in the two weeks including the ~550mile journeys from home (Bristol), I'm hoping to post some pictures if I can find the time. There seem to be quite a few with a yellow car in them
